  Oh good! Someone revamped the old diner on PP & it's open for business!
  We stopped dining at the old one a long time ago due to poor food quality and mediocre service. Hopefully Bettys will be our new favorite spot!
  We arrived at 11:05 am Sun morning.
  Parking lot was full. Well gosh, we thought, that's hopefully a good sign for the new business.
  We found a table and a young waitress came to take our drink order & tell us they stopped serving breakfast at 11. While not exactly unfriendly, I'd say her attitude was one of indifference.
  We ordered from the lunch menu at 11:10 am. Then we waited. And we waited.
  As we looked around, we noticed that no one at any of the other tables (who were there before us) had received their food orders yet either. Most of the other guests appeared to be getting as disappointed as we were. Not a lot of friendly conversation going on.
  There were several waitresses standing around talking with one another but not really to the guests. Oh boy. This isn't looking good.
  At 11:35 another table finally received their food order .....breakfast :(
  At 11:50 our waitress came to tell us that they had just now switched over to lunch items at the grill and that it was probably going to be a while before they'd get to our order.
  Are you serious? We placed our order 40 minutes ago!
  Never mind.
  We'll just take off.
  Still hungry.
  Don't worry. We won't be back.
  So....we went down the road to Dinos in Cameron where the waitress was very friendly, the dining room was a buzz with the sounds of folks enjoying good food and good company, the food (breakfast at 12:30 pm) was served fast and was incredibly delicious. And Dinos remains our favorite spot.
